HBO Max has ordered a series based on an original concept by J.J. Abrams, with Jennifer Yale (Legion, Dexter) attached as showrunner. The title is a play on words, with the plot following a college student taking part as a subject in a clinical trial.
“This series follows a desperate college student who signs up for a clinical trial that begins a wild, harrowing, mind and reality-bending adventure,” the official synopsis reads.
